Ohio State's longtime leader has earned himself another NBA pre-draft workout.
The Indiana Pacers announced Tuesday that Tate, who is considered a long shot to make an NBA roster, will work out for them on Wednesday as part of their fourth pre-draft tryout.
Tate has also earned tryouts with the Utah Jazz and Chicago Bulls during the pre-draft process.
The Pickerington, Ohio native has not appeared on many mock drafts and is widely projected to go undrafted on June 21. However, as Ohio State fans know, Tate has overcome the odds his entire basketball career and is continuing to do so.
The Pacers have also worked out his former Ohio State teammate Keita Bates-Diop during the pre-draft process. Indiana holds the No. 23 and No. 50 overall selections in the upcoming draft.
