The men's national basketball program trimmed its under-18 pool to 18 finalists Saturday, and Ohio State sophomore small forward Musa Jallow was not among them.

Jallow spent the week in Colorado trying out for the team under the watch of Buckeye head coach Chris Holtmann.

The final field, which includes a big-time target in 2019 four-star point guard D.J. Carton:

Number Name Position
33 Cole Anthony G
16 Armando Bacot F
19 Keion Brooks F
35 D.J. Carton G
54 Hunter Dickinson F
36 Ayo Dosunmu G
39 Quentin Grimes G
20 Kamaka Hepa F
23 Matthew Hurt F
25 Trayce Jackson-Davis F
26 Josiah James G
41 Jalen Leque G
44 Tyrese Maxey G
31 Justin Moore G
28 Jeremiah Robinson-Earl F
30 Anton Watson F
32 Mark Watts Jr. G
48 Colby White G

Despite Jallow falling short, it's still more valuable experience for a player who should have spent last year playing high school basketball.
