In an effort to fill some empty seats at the Schottenstein Center, Ohio State is giving away free tickets to students for a Nov. 29 contest against Clemson.

In a video sent out from the Twitter account of Ohio State basketball student section The Nuthouse, Chris Holtmann announced that all students are invited to attend the Big Ten/ACC Challenge Game against the Tigers for free.

The Buckeyes have seen attendance decline in recent years, and had an announced attendance of just 9,984 for Thursday night's win over Texas Southern, leaving nearly half of the arena empty (capacity 19,500). The attendance on Thursday was the lowest in more than a year, when just 9,787 fans showed up to watch Ohio State defeat N.C. Central in the 2016-17 home opener on Nov. 14, 2016.
