Chris Holtmann's first Ohio State recruiting class is locked in.

Ohio State confirmed Wednesday that all four 2018 commits have signed their letters of intent to play for Holtmann next season.

“We are very excited about the addition of Justin (Ahrens), Jaedon (LeDee), Luther (Muhammad) and Duane (Washington, Jr.),” Holtmann said in a press release. “Our staff did an outstanding job working tirelessly and diligently to add these four young men who we feel can make an early impact in our program and who exemplify what we want to be as a Buckeye.

"They all provide versatility and they complement each other very well. While we understand that there will be an adjustment for all four to the college game and that will require some patience, we are extremely excited about what they can grow into as Buckeyes."

One of Ohio State's original 2018 commits, Ahrens, decommitted from the Buckeyes following Thad Matta's firing. It took until September, but Holtmann was able to land Ahrens to his first OSU recruiting class as Ahrens recommitted Sept. 24

Less than two months later, Ahrens officially became a Buckeye by signing his letter of intent.

Ahrens, a three-star prospect according to 247Sports, is the lone Ohio native in Ohio State's 2018 class.

Muhammad, who committed to Ohio State on Sept. 22, signed along with other high school classmates at Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, N.J.)

A four-star prospect, Muhammad is Ohio State's highest rated signee. He is rated by 247Sports as the No. 72 overall prospect in the country.

LeDee was the first commitment among the four signees, as he announced his commitment Sept. 19. A four-star forward, LeDee is rated as the No. 113 overall prospect in the 2018 class by 247Sports.

The final member of the 2018 signees on Wednesday, Washington Jr. committed to Ohio State on Sept. 20. A three-star point guard, Washington is the lowest-rated Buckeye commit, rated by 247Sports as the No. 287 overall prospect in the 2018 class.

"He can make plays with the ball in his hands," Holtmann said of Washington. "He is a prolific shooter."

Ohio State is set to tip off its first season under Holtmann on Friday, as the Buckeyes are scheduled to play Robert Morris at home with a start time set for 7 p.m.
