While Justin Ahrens decommitted from Ohio State basketball after Thad Matta's departure, the three-star small forward from Versailles, Ohio could still become a Buckeye.

The class of 2018 recruit narrowed his list of schools down to six on Monday, and is still considering Ohio State along with Michigan, Xavier, Dayton, Vanderbilt and Purdue.

Ahrens decommitted from Ohio State on June 6, just one day after the press conference announcing that Matta was no longer the Buckeyes' coach, but he received an offer from new Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann last month.

Ohio State currently has only one commitment, four-star shooting guard Torrence Watson, for the class of 2018.
