This Week in Twitter is a look at some of the week's best and most entertaining tweets from Buckeyeland and beyond.

The summer slog of the 2023 college football offseason rolls on, but there's no shortage of content across social media when it comes to the Ohio State student athletes!

Not every corner of Twitter was as gracious to the Buckeyes, however. Pro Football Focus floated the suggestion of Illinois defensive tackle Jer'Zhan Newton this week that he and Keith Randolph Jr. represent not only the best DT duo in the Big Ten, but the entire country.

Naturally, Michael Hall Jr. would not stand for this — but only in the sense that he probably doubled over laughing when he first read the Fighting Illini's declaration.

Tyleik Williams concurred. #Free91

Meanwhile, in professional football circles, minicamps have started up across the country, and New Orleans has once again gone to the well for assistance from former Buckeyes. Even recently retired Buckeye greats such as Ted Ginn Jr. have been willing to answer the call from Saints head coach Dennis Green to help New Orleans reclaim its hold on the NFC South.

The existing bearers of the Ohio State brand seem grateful for Ginn's steady presence.

If Ginn seems eager to get into coaching, he could always come back to Columbus! However, given his apparent volunteer capacity with the Saints, he probably wants to avoid any university employee parking fees.

The Columbus to New Orleans pipeline continued chugging along with the week itself not only with the signing of Billy Price, but also rumored interest in Pat Elflein.

As for Buckeye basketball, Chris Holtmann enjoyed an anniversary this past week with someone that has become very near and dear to his heart since arriving on campus.

Reminiscing on happy times became a consistent theme this week across Ohio State basketball Twitter.

But as Kelsey Mitchell can confirm, there remains plenty to celebrate in the present!

That goes for Buckeye athletes across all sports as well. Golf team standout Maxwell Moldovan not only received a selection for the U.S. Open this week, but went on to make the cut for the weekend and teed off an hour ago!

Finally, to conclude This Week in Twitter, Eleven Warriors would once again like to pay respects to former Ohio State baseball captain Kyle Brown, who passed away unexpectedly at 42 years old last weekend while working an ESPN director assignment.
