
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced its Class of 2017 on Saturday, with Tracy McGrady, Bill Self and Rebecca Lobo headlining the 11-member class.
Tracy McGrady: Seven-time NBA all-star, averaged 19.6 points per game over his 15-year career. Led the league in scoring in both 2002-03 and 2003-04.
Bill Self: One of six NCAA coaches to lead three different schools to the Elite Eight. Won 2008 national title at Kansas.
Rebecca Lobo: National college women's player of the year in 1995, when she helped lead Connecticut to a 35-0 record and its first national title.
Muffet McGraw: The Notre Dame women's coach since 1987, McGraw has seven Final Four appearances and the 2001 national title on her resume.
Robert Hughes: Retired as the nation's all-time winningest high school basketball coach with 1,333 victories over 46 seasons in Texas.
Jerry Krause: Front-office architect of the Chicago Bulls' dynasty in the 1980s and '90s. Krause died March 21.
George McGinnis: Won two ABA titles with the Indiana Pacers. At Indiana University, became the first sophomore to lead the Big Ten in scoring and rebounding.
Tom Jernstedt: NCAA official who spearheaded the men's basketball tournament's explosion in popularity in the 1970s and '80s.
Nikos Galis: Greek-American who won eight EuroLeague scoring titles in the 1980s and '90s. He's considered one of the greatest professionals to never play in the NBA.
Zack Clayton and Mannie Jackson: Former players for the Harlem Globetrotters.
