With official visits at Ohio State set to get underway this week, I figured this was a good time to ask a recruiting version of this week's question.
Dozens of players will flock to Columbus soon for arguably the most important month in recruiting (well, besides December), all of whom could potentially make a big impact for the Buckeyes in future seasons if they commit.
But if you could choose one, and only one, recruit who would be guaranteed to end up in Ohio State's 2026 class, which one would you choose?
There's really no wrong answer here. I imagine a top offensive lineman and defensive lineman will be at the forefront of most fans' wishlists. I even considered making Felix Ojo my answer for this question.
But ultimately, I'm going with five-star linebacker Tyler Atkinson. The reason why is simple. Of every recruit in the 2026 cycle, I'm most convinced he's going to be a standout player at the collegiate level. He was a superstar as an eighth grader when he picked up his OSU offer, and he's only gotten more talented since then. He'd be a true weapon off the edge and would be really fun to watch rush the passer in Columbus.
Ultimately, we'll see where he ends up. The Buckeyes are very much in the thick of that recruitment and it very likely will be a Georgia vs. Ohio State battle.
Which recruit would you guys ensure ends up in Columbus this recruiting cycle if given an option?
