Is it just me, or has this been one of the craziest recruiting years ever? It seems like every hour there are new reports coming out about an Ohio State target or recruit. It seems like the players and coaches alike feel a lot of pressure to make up their minds, and it's creating more stress for everyone involved.

I never really had a stance one way or another on the early signing period, but now understand why Urban was so strongly against it.

I am curious if we will see the effects of the signing period in bowl games. I wonder if coaches will be a lot less prepared, and the quality of football will drop. 

Personally, I am now strongly against the early signing period. I doubt the rule will be changed, but I think that the early signing period should be overturned, and recruiting can return to how it has been.
