Kellen Mond is according to 247Sports Composite a 4*, the #6 dual-threat quarterback and the #117 overall prospect in the 2017 class. He was the first 2017 QB to be invited to the Eleite11. He is the new QB for IMG Academy, which currently has a staggering 13 top 250 players in IMG ACADEMY'S INSANE 2017 CLASS. Mond has been committed to Baylor since last June and according to 247Sports, does not have an offer from OSU. However, that didn't stop him from noticing Ohio State's 2017 class, especially right after fellow Texas native JK Dobbins committed:
hio State has a crazy 2017 class

Mond already being committed to Baylor, the lack of an OSU offer and Danny Clark already being in the fold, this may not mean much. However, he is teammates with two IMG Buckeye commits in Isaiah Pryor and Marcus Williamson along with many other targets such as Joshua Kaindoh. He also seems to have a good relationship with Buckeye lean Trevon Grimes:

His highlights really show why he is so highly rated:
56 QBs came out. 1 got the nod for the #Elite11 Finals.
