Austin Mack is number 1. Great job by everyone who voted to make him the Fans choice. Mack overcame stunning odds in the semifinals against the 5763rd ranked Wil Chrisman, who was bolstered with a blitzkrieg voting campaign initiated by Montel Williams. Eleven Warriors was able to spearhead the effort for Mack, defeating Chrisman by a mere 58 votes. Mack went on to beat his teammate Noah Wezensky in the finals by an astounding 85 percent of the votes, and helping him rightfully earn the preseason player of the year award.
