One of the benefits of producing quality seasons such as the national championship Ohio State had last season, comes in recruiting and the momentum has begun to kick in. Not only is the school's brand get more recognition across the country, but recruits at the top of every program's list is knocking on the door, wanting a chance to play for the reigning champions.

One of those players, '17 wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey, has been wanting an offer from the Buckeyes for less than a week, but has the attention of wide receivers coach Zach Smith and Urban Meyer, who gave an offer out on Sunday. From most reports, it seems as though the 2017 class has wide receivers in Spades but there are new names popping up all the time. Lindsey is one to keep an eye on.

Lindsey is hands down one of the best prospects in the country, let alone receiving prospects. The 5'9, 161-pound receiver is rated as a five-star under the 247Sports Composite and ranks as the nation's 19th best prospect overall, the third-best wide receiver in the class, and the second-best player from the state of Nevada. In 2014, Lindsey hauled in 34 receptions for 884 yards, 15 touchdowns and also used his speed to return two punts for touchdowns.

The Nevada-native also has quite the impressive offer sheet, including Arizona State, Oregon, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, UNLV, USC, Utah, Utah State, and Washington. He's also receiving interest from Nevada and UCLA, and I would imagine his offers will continue to grow from here on, considering it's still fairly early in his recruitment process.

Here's the tweet Lindsey sent after the offer came from tOSU:

The future is indeed bright and getting brighter!!
