This series will highlight the commitment anniversary date of Ohio State players. I have commitment dates from 2003-2015.

ON JULY 29, 2013 MALIK HOOKER (ATH) COMMITTED TO OHIO STATE
Malik Hooker's commitment per Jeremy Birmingham:
Ohio State has its newest commitment in the 2014 class as New Castle (Pa.) athlete Malik Hooker has committed to the Buckeyes tonight.

Hooker is a dynamic athlete, starring in football and basketball at New Castle, and could have played either sport in college, but will only play football. His commitment gives the Buckeyes another versatile, explosive option that could play either side of the ball down the line. At the start of his Buckeye career, expect Hooker to line up as a safety, providing speed and athleticism in Ohio State's defensive backfield.

ON JULY 29, 2009 JAMES LOUIS (WR) COMMITTED TO OHIO STATE
Excerpts about James Louis' commitment from an article on brutusreport.com:
James Louis out of Delray Beach, Florida has verbally committed to play football for Jim Tressel and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Originally it looked as if he was leaning towards playing for Urban Meyer and the Gators, but after being unable to attend a camp at Florida, Louis began getting the feeling that he was no longer at the top of Florida’s recruiting list. He felt a bit snubbed, and eventually decided he wanted no part of that drama. Even though he has not paid a visit to OSU’s campus, he says he wants to be a Buckeye. Apparently, Louis did not like being a contingency plan for the Florida Gators.
In August of 2011 James Louis announced he was leaving Ohio State and transferring. Louis transferred to FIU.
