This is a very Interesting look at 3 pass plays that were Wide Open, had Sayin stood in the pocket and just thrown the ball.  These are plays that a QB wanting to be an NFL QB has to make. This is why Day and Hartline played Slow Ball and this is the growth a QB has to make. A running QB would most likely have made the same mistake Sayin made. I think this is why we should have started the game with the power running we used in the 2nd half. The pass rush got Sayin rattled early and he never recovered. Day has likely already seen and shown this to his  freshman QB.
