I don’t mind seeing Ohio state take on Texas in Dallas. What does bother me is there will never be an option for Ohio State playing Texas in say Detroit or Indianapolis. 
Lsu has the sugar bowl in Nola, Florida schools have Miami, Texas schools have Dallas, there’s Atlanta for many southern schools benefitting from that yet there is no northern location. 
I hope it won’t matter, but in the current CFP setup this will always be possible and it will happen frequently. It is undeniable that it is an advantage, and that advantage exists in only one direction.

I really hope this is a point for improvement that the BIG demands as part of the next CFP iteration.
