Stroud beat out Tua Tagovailoa and Gardner Minshew to make the final among AFC quarterbacks while Mayfield beat out Jalen Hurts and Geno Smith on the NFC side.
Coming off of one the best seasons ever for an NFL rookie quarterback, Stroud was selected to participate in the Pro Bowl Games as an alternate, taking the place of Patrick Mahomes after the Kansas City Chiefs made the Super Bowl.
The Pro Bowl Games will continue at 3 p.m. Sunday at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, where Stroud and the rest of the participating players will compete in 7-on-7 flag football and several other competitions. The competition will be televised on ESPN, ABC and Disney XD and streamed on ESPN+.
