Hello Buckeye nation!

8-0 now and I cant help but focus on how crucial Marv has been throughout this great run. Hes the man, period.
Once again, Marv shows out in a big way and in a tough road environment. 100% the main difference maker on offense. The last 2 games he has been held, grabbed, pulled, just generally fighting through what should be penalties, yet he still comes down with the ball. The guy is absolutely hesiman material and is the reason i started this thread 3 weeks ago. Once again he advaces up the heisman contention ranks. Lets take a look:

HEISMAN ODDS WEEK 9
Michael Penix Jr.
Washington
+280
J.J. McCarthy
Michigan
+300
Jayden Daniels
LSU
+400
Bo Nix
Oregon
+600
Jordan Travis
Florida State
+700
***Marvin Harrison Jr.
Ohio State
+1200 ***
Carson Beck
Georgia
+2500
Dillon Gabriel
Oklahoma
+3000
Drake Maye
North Carolina
+5000
Jalen Milroe
Alabama
+8000

So this was originally posted after the win over Purdue so naturally most were feeling like; yes he played great but can he do the same against the likes of Penn State and ISHigan.

Marv had an incredible game against a stout Penn State D. The odds changed in his favor after his top notch performance and rightfully so.

HEISMAN ODDS WEEK 8
J.J. McCarthy, Michigan: +200.
Michael Penix Jr., Washington: +300.
Jayden Daniels, LSU: +600.
Jordan Travis, Florida State: +700.
Dillon Gabriel, Oklahoma: +800.
Bo Nix, Oregon: +3000.
Carson Beck, Georgia: +3000.
***Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State: +3000 ***

So week 7 is done, still alot of football to be played but id like to see what others are feeling about MHJ's chances at being a true heisman contender.

Here are the current heisman odds:

HEISMAN ODDS WEEK 7
Michael Penix Jr. Washington +200
Caleb Williams USC +225
Bo Nix Oregon +600
Dillon Gabriel Oklahoma +1200
Jordan Travis Florida State +1600
Drake Maye North Carolina +1600
Jayden Daniels LSU +3000
J.J. McCarthy Michigan +3000
Blake Corum Michigan +4000
Quinn Ewers Texas +5000
Sam Hartman Notre Dame +5000
Drew Allar Penn State +6000
***Marvin Harrison Jr. Ohio State +6600 ***
Carson Beck Georgia +8000
Kyle McCord Ohio State +8000
Shedeur Sanders Colorado +15000

Of course the QBs get most of the love early on, thats football. As the season progresses though we often see a running back, a deffensive end and maybe even a wide receiver start to enter the conversation as a legit finalist/winner.

I honestly dont know what exactly it would take for MHJ to get into the top 3 but im assuming its going to take a few special games and the rest 100+ yarders with a TD or 2. Im not a CFB historian but I do know it takes a very special year to even be considered. Amari Cooper and Larry Fitzgerald come to mind, I remember Cooper taking games over as a WR in 2014. (I missed Devonte Smith, that year is a blur for me i appologize, i missed all the Buckeyes games even) I feel like MHJ may have the best chance for a WR from OSU ever but its going to take some magical games against the better teams we have coming up. I truly love everything about this young man so of course im rooting for him to make Ohio State history. Im sure Im partially blinded by my scarlet glasses but what he showed me on Saturday (and of course last season) was that of a champion. The look in his eyes this weekend should put the fear of god in anyone lining up against him, hes a man possessed and i mean that literally, he was in the zone. I expect him and McCord to connect on a whole other level going forward and in doing so, propel MHJ to the top of the heisman boards.

*What do you guys think it would take for our boy to get himself in a position to win the heisman now after the Badgers game?*
