This isn’t really specific to this game, but more Day’s tenure since the end of 2019 & what we’re seeing so far this season.
To start, I’m not a Day hater at all, and I’m not an Urban disciple either……but one thing I’m starting to feel is that this program has become SO NFL-style that it seems like the “identity” of the program is just execution & scheme at all levels.
I just wonder if Day consistently has that element that Bama & Georgia have where they know & develop a mentality and culture in their roster that often times they can just out-athlete and out-physical 75% of teams.
Just doesn’t seem like we go out and physically dominate teams as much anymore & I wonder if some of that mentality was lost when Urban left.
Not a doom and gloom kinda post, just a possible feeling I have right now and interested to see if others feel a similar thing.
