An off-season informal tv-watching poll of sorts: How much do you tend to flip to other games during the 4th quarter of games Ohio State is up, say, 5+ TDs?
I ask because I was just perusing week 2 of the upcoming cfb schedule. At noon, the Bucks are playing Youngstown St, while other noon games include Nebraska v. Colorado (Prime's home debut), Purdue v. V. Tech, Utah v. Baylor, ND v. NC St. Those other non-Buckeyes games aren't marquee match ups, but compelling nonetheless. If 1-2 of those games are close in the 4Q, it will be tempting to check in on them.
My answer: I rarely miss watching any Ohio State plays even during massive blowouts, partly because I like seeing the young talent get some snaps, but I definitely get more brazen about cutting it close between snaps and sometimes will miss a play or two. And if a game on another channel becomes A+ compelling, I will sometimes switch over altogether.
