I somehow got the stomach to look at some replays of Saturday's game. While I was originally a bit annoyed that they gave Kirby the timeout on the fake punt, Ohio State actually had 12 guys on the field (if a mod can embed the photo I'd appreciate it):

I have heard that what tipped Smart off was the 3 gunners to the left side. Now that I am watching this back I am all but certain one of these three was not supposed to be on the field.

Turns out our lack of execution in the highest leverage moment of the season inadvertently tipped off Smart to call a timeout. And even if they did not give UGA the timeout, this play would have been automatically reviewable and would have been wiped off the board anyway.

I'm somehow even more disgusted now.
