Red Flags All Year Long

Sorry, it took a few days before I can try to think logically about this game.

I'm trying not to be too emotional when I look at what happened on Saturday, but the thing that makes me the angriest is that what killed us against the Wolverines is stuff that has been a problem all year.

1) We have had issues with receivers getting lost in coverage with nobody around them all year long. Remember that amazing play Tanner McCallister made against Wisconsin to knock that ball away to save a touchdown? Remember how wide open that guy was? This was never addressed at all.

2) We have also had problems when DBs were in position playing through the receiver and not locating the ball and getting flagged with obvious pass interference calls. Coaching staff said they would coach this up better.

3) Personal fouls: This has been another issue all year. We even got flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct against Arkansas St for crying out loud.

I don't know how you play cover 0 consistently against a team when your DBs can't cover anyone man to man. Harbaugh and staff saw all those instances when we left people open and all our PI penalties and realized if they started chucking the ball deep we would give them a big play in one way or another.

THIS is what makes me question the coaching staff... having a blindspot for obvious issues on your team and not getting it corrected during the season.
