Midway through the third quarter, it sure seemed that Ryan Day did not grasp the moment. After OSU was backed into a 1st and 35 with stupid penalties, the offense gained 30 yards in three plays and seemed poised to come back to pick up the 4th down. Stroud and the offense were pumped to get it. It could have been Stroud's Heisman moment to come back from 1st and 35 to take the team down the field to score a TD and grab momentum and the lead. Instead, Day decided to send the ball back to Michigan which solidified their momentum and lead. Harbaugh understood the moment early in thr third when he went for it on 4th down on his own 35. Day basically sealed the fate of the team by not making the bold decision. Ivfelt bad for Stroud seeing how badly he wanted that moment.
Did Ryan Day Deny CJ Stroud His Heisman Moment?
