Ohio State long snapper Bradley Robinson is among this year’s nominees for the Burlsworth Trophy, which honors the top college football player who began his career as a walk-on.
Robinson, a seventh-year senior, walked on with the Buckeyes in 2017 after spending one year at Michigan State. Now a scholarship player for Ohio State, Robinson is in his third season as Ohio State’s starting long snapper, though he is currently sidelined by a knee injury he suffered in the Buckeyes’ Oct. 22 game against Iowa.
Before suffering that injury, Robinson had started 28 consecutive games at long snapper for Ohio State dating back to the start of the 2020 season. Mason Arnold handled long-snapping duties in his place last week at Penn State.
