He basically is stating that since Stroud is not a runner with the ball, the defense has an easier time in reading his initial targets. But he adds that Day made some adjustments and ultimately, he stated that the second half, OSU had more of the field to work with, since they weren’t always starting on Iowa’s side of the field, which allowed Stroud and the receivers to get more space and make plays one on one.
