Preseason, we all have our preconceived notions, guesses and expectations for individual players, position groups etc.
Curious, through seven games, which Buckeye has produced the most surprising results - good or bad - versus your preseason expectations?
On the not-so-good side, I think I've gotta go with Denzel Burke (just ahead of Josh Proctor). He's been better over the last few games albeit against terrible passing offenses but I figured he would be elite from the jump.
On the other end of the spectrum, Lathan Ransom has really surprised me with his steady play especially coming off a serious leg injury suffered in the Rose Bowl. I figured Ronnie Hickman, Tanner McCallister and Proctor would hog the safety snaps but Ransom's been heavily involved and is currently third on the team in stops behind Tommy Eichenberg and Steele Chambers.
Who you got?
