I'm watching fox big noon kickoff, they showed a stat that Tennessee has beat four ranked teams. One of those teams is Florida, who is 4-3! Two other teams are Pitt and LSU. All three are currently unranked!

My question is: when talking with someone do you talk about the rank when you played, or the current rank?

I always look at current rank, ND was number 5 when we played but did we really beat the #5 team? No, we know that they were over rated in the preseason. They are an ok team but looking at the body of work they aren't the #5 everyone thought it was.
