When Will TTUN Have Your Attention ?

I am a BUCKEYE as you all are and live and die BUCKEYE football. I myself NEVER want TTUN to be good, win a game or ever be relelvant. I want revenge for last years loss and no score can be large enough or victory dominant enough in my mind to wipe away the yacking they publically have put on during this time and the sour/foul taste in my mouth.

That said, I have read many comments and posts that provide many excuses for their success this year from soft schedule to they really have not dominated anybody with a pulse. Many make excuses why the other team they played did not put up a fight. There are those who are even making comments that last year was a fluke, and to some extent I agree with this fully.

This post is not to pump TTUN up or making them to be the next Alabama or saying they are back. But they have my attention as a worthy and viable opponent this year. They keep winning and at every corner when I think they will trip up they dont. We/me as a fan base all last year kept making diminishing statements and disregarding their success. While they were building a quite confidence. I did not take them seriously until it showed on the field that day in The Outhouse. And from all the posts and comments many here also did the same as myself. I predicted in a post last week when someone asked to predict the score of the Penn State vs TTUN game, I typed, It won't be close, and they crushed PSU. I know many people will continue to make similiar statements regarding their win this past weekend. Many will say PSU this or James Franklin that and few will give any credit to TTUN. Again the point is they have my attention and to think that what we want to happen [to steam roll them in November and crush their soul] versus what could happen [have a game where it is close] is very realisitic.

Take off your Scarlet and Grey glasses for a moment. Maybe listen to this well respected college football analyst for a moment and ask yourself when will they have your attention. I would bet that everybody in the WHAC is paying attention.

I know we have improved our defense, physicality, and line of sccrimmage play since we last met. I know we are better at defending the run and run blocking ourselves since we last met. But to disregard them as a quality opponent and one who could take away all of our dreams of a Natty this year as they did many times in the 1990's I feel is a mistake. I am not saying we won't win or can't win. I am saying they have my attention and feel to dismiss them would a careless opinion. So my question, when will they have your attention ?
