The list of Ohio State players on active NFL rosters shrunk by two on Monday.
Former Ohio State defensive end and tight end Rashod Berry – who was playing outside linebacker – was waived by the Detroit Lions, while former Buckeye tight end Jake Hausmann was waived by the New York Giants, dropping the total of Buckeyes currently on active NFL rosters to 66.

Berry, who went undrafted in 2020, also spent time with the New England Patriots before being signed by the Lions last year. Hausmann was initially signed by the Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2021 before joining the Giants’ practice squad last fall.
