Bama's star receiver Jaylen Waddle who has missed over half the season may be back for the championship. Waddle is nearly on the same level as Devonta Smith and is a huge speed threat. He is averaging 22 yards per catch on the season. Against Georgia he had 6 catches for 160 yards including a 90 yard touchdown catch. He has been out since October 24 when he broke his ankle.
OSU's secondary may be able to hold its own with only 1 true star in Devonta Smith but with Waddle potentially back it would be a lot for OSU to try to slow down. Hopefully this is a diversion from Bama.
