This is not intended to be a trick question; and I don’t know the answer. I was wondering if any readers might know of past players up north who could join Ryan Mallett in this distinction.
I am asking because I am watching the 2007 edition of The Game on ESPN Classic (and Mallett came into the game when starting QB Chad Henne went out for a period of time).
And, of course, Mallett was the starting QB for Arkansas in the 2011 Sugar Bowl. So he experienced losses twice against the Buckeyes in big-time games in two very different settings.
Any other Michigan men you know of who have this distinct “honor?” Thanks.
