The CFP committee announced today that the first rankings will now be on November 17th and the final rankings will be released on December 20th. They seem to be moving forward with the fall season while completely ignoring conferences that are claiming to attempt a spring season. I can't believe they are not doing something to address how much of a mess college football is right now and I don't see how you can crown a national champion when two major regions of the country are not playing. My question is, if the CFP committee moves forward with the playoff and crowns a champion while the Big Ten and PAC12 stay at home what would be the motivation for going out there a week or two later and starting a spring season? Is a Big Ten championship enough for you as a Buckeye fan? Do you think the committee will setup a spring playoff as well or just completely ignore it?
