With the NFL draft approaching later this month, teams are continuing to take a closer look at former Ohio State wide receiver Terry McLaurin.
According to SiriusXM's Alex Marvez, McLaurin said Thursday that he met with the Houston Texans and New England Patriots in Columbus this week, and also has visits scheduled with the New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts.
Just finished a great interview with @TheTerry_25 on @SiriusXMNFL. He met with the @HoustonTexans & @Patriots in Columbus this week, travels to the @nyjets on Sunday & his hometown @Colts on 4/16

The Patriots, who are known for placing an emphasis on special teams and doing the little things well, would appear to be a natural fit for McLaurin. Being drafted by the Colts, the team he grew up rooting as a kid in Indianapolis, would surely be a dream come true for McLaurin.
McLaurin's draft stock has soared in the months leading up to the draft, as he had excellent performances at the Senior Bowl, the NFL Scouting Combine and pro day. He has been projected to be drafted as high as the late first round, though it seems more likely he will be selected in the second or third round.
