So with the off-season underway, I've started taking the way too early look at who will be on the field the first play of 2019's installment of: The Game.  I've also included 247 composite recruiting ratings and position rankings for each player as a light indicator of the talent both teams are walking out there.

A couple early observations:

- I took one flier on a freshman starting, WR Garrett Wilson.

- We obviously being a far more talented team, an average of 20 spots higher in class ranking per player.

- More than that, I believe we match up EXTREMELY WELL with their position groups (their strength at WR vs a our DB strength, their weakness at OL vs our beast of a DL, etc)

- The players we have playing that are lower ranked are beating out much higher ranked guys to get on the field than their ttun counterparts (ie Thayer Munford, Chris Olave, BB Landers, etc)

- Justin Fields rating is not actually 1, but it rounds up that way at 3 decimals lol.

- Our 2019 and 2020 OL could be crazy good.

- Overall, I think Day brings the hurt in his first shot at The Game.
