I thought his leaving was a sure sign that Schiano was staying as DC, possibly for good.  But the Mattison hire makes that seem completely wrong.

Does this mean Day just didn't like Grinch?   I thought with his Ohio ties Grinch would want to stay here over any equivalent opportunities...
