A brief history of my fandom. Growing up in Lorain my family never really sat down and watched much football together. I discovered Ohio State football midway through the 2000 season and have been hooked ever since. With that being said this years game will be only the second time Ohio State has played in the Rose Bowl since I’ve been watching. Outside of USC west coast teams have zero appeal to me. I understand the history of the game but is it really that important anymore?
