Ohio State narrowly missed making the College Football Playoff once again and many of us are probably still a bit perturbed to see the Buckeyes behind both Oklahoma and Georgia.

Let's say a six-team (with two byes) or eight-team playoff were in effect for this season. Among the top sixish teams, who would you feel most comfortable with Ohio State matching up against? What would the outcome be? What would be the worst possible matchup for the Scarlet and Gray and why?

The committee cited Ohio State's inconsistency as a big part of its final ranking. For the sake of discussion, let's focus on the Buckeyes team we've seen over the past two weeks more so than what we saw against Maryland and Purdue.
