After the Fiesta Bowl game, Urban Meyer was quoted as saying "he wants the offense to be different next year, more spread out, more balanced".
Looking at season total stats we rushed the ball 567 times and passed 325 times. What struck me was 208 rushing attempts came in just 4 games.
I guess I'm not grasping what is going to change if this type of spread offense he now currently employs is predicated off the run. If our OL is clicking on blocking, we not only stay with it but it just eats up a ton of yards.
On the passing game, we have a ton of talent at WR going into the 2016 season. I always got pissed during this season when we did not at least target Vannett early to make other teams secondaries account for him.
So what kind of scheme should we expect in 2016? More empty backfield sets?
