I'm sick and tired of reading all of the "the offense works better under JT" bs. Correction, the offense DID work better under JT. But that was last year. That was last year when we had Herman as the coordinator, Spencer making great blocks on the edge, Devin Smith taking the top off the defenses, and Heuerman makin great catches and blocks. But, we don't have that this year. The offense was simpler because we didn't have as many people trying to get touches. When JT has played , he has performed equally as terrible Cardale. His reads on passes have been terrible. He has underthrown and overthrown balls also. His completion percentage is roughly the same as Cardale. To act as if he would come in and provide a spark to our offense is laughable. He will be plagued by the same problems that Cardale has. You can't throw the ball deep when your recievers aren't fast enough to get separation. It's hard completing short passes consistently when the defense is stacking the box because you lack a consistent deep threat. It's hard establishing a running game when the box is stacked. The QB will continue to have a defender or two in his face every time he rolls out or steps back to make a pass. This isn't a Cardale problem. This is a 2015 OSU problem.
