The AP Poll is out and the mighty Big Ten tallied 5 teams in the top 25 for the first time this season. TTUN is back in the top 25 after an approximately 2-year hiatus. It'd be nice to have them still be ranked when we play, if only to give the SEC schedule-bashers a little less ammunition. Iowa is also close to being ranked and will almost certainly find its way in with a win against Wisconsin next week.
Nice to see Oregon fall out; not sure how the coaches (or, more accurately, whoever the coaches bamboozle into submitting their ballots) still have them in the top 25. Of course Mississippi State makes its way back into the polls after their impressive win over SEC West favorite Auburn. Still, with only 2 more teams ranked than the B1G, it seems like the SEC love-fest has fizzled a little bit - for now.
