If our WR's (some, not all) are missing anything it is the attack on the ball. They seem to be waiting for it to nestle into their waiting hands. Years ago, I had the privilege of attending 2 Raymond Berry seminars. (NFL HOF - Considered one of the all-time best possession WR's)
Berry summed it up this way, "That's your ball. You gotta snatch that ball. Snatch it like a pissed-off eagle with a nest full of starving chicks!"
Berry also hated the phrase "soft hands". He said your fingers should be extended in a way that you could do pushups on your fingertips.
