Earlier today D56GoBucks asked "What Makes a Blue Blood?"
I don't have an answer to his question, but I can provide the ten teams with the best winning percentages between 1915-2014.
For a school to qualify the football program had to play at the Div. IA (FBS) level in at least 95 of the last 100 years.
| rank | school | WINNING % |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | OHIO STATE | .741 |
| 2 | ALABAMA | .731 |
| 3 | NOTRE DAME | .726 |
| 4 | OKLAHOMA | .721 |
| 5 | THAT TEAM | .711 |
| 6 | USC | .704 |
| 7 | TEXAS | .702 |
| 8 | TENNESSEE | .701 |
| 9 | PENN STATE | .698 |
| 10 | NEBRASKA | .694 |

Anybody surprised that Ohio State is No. 1? Didn't think so.
