We know that Stan Drayton interviewed and accepted a new job with the Chicago Bears SOON AFTER signing day.
We do not know, nor has it been proven, that Drayton: Accepted or Knew he WOULD get a new job.
A new job was a POTENTIAL but not a guarantee (we still don't know if the Bears contacted him before signing day).
I'm inclined to believe that it's real sable to assume Drayton was proceeding under the assumption he would be likely be coaching Mike Weber. That obviously changed after signing day.
Therefore, I'm inclined to say he was under no obligation to report a potential new job, because is wasn't a reality.
I also think Michigan was under no obligation to inform Weber of another potential running back signing, as it was a potential not reality.
What do you think of the ethical question? Mahouts schools and coaches be required to report **potential** jobs?
