Just a Thought on Herman

So this entire season when I watched our offensive game planning, it felt that 1/3 games were either good/really good/incredible and the others were roughly meh. It almost feels like a lull that we just aren't really "that good." Now given that Herman is of MENSA level, is it not possible this was a tactic?

When I sit at a poker table, my goal is to make you think I am one thing, then switch to an entirely difference gear to exploit your judgement in how I will perform in a hand. Basically I want you thinking I am going to do something so often in such a way, that when I suddenly shift up into high gear you're not only stunned for a period of time but you now have to make the adjustments to address this on the fly. When you're making quicker/rasher decisions w/ less information, you're probability for mistakes made will rise. I think of this when looking at stuff like MSU/Wisky games, where our offense was unbelievably executing and then other games where mistakes were made. Now I'm not saying turnover mistakes are planned, because that is insane... But sometimes our play calling seemed very lackluster and I really feel like this was a ploy.

Now to finish with this, Saban's staff is going into this game with 1 game of film of the current offense in action(And let's not take away how amazing the defense did to shut out Wisky or just in general the majority of the season) but now Herman has had time to refine even more w/ Cardale and could entirely flip a script on Bama. They would now be forced to be adjusting nearly blind, and that should be terrifying for a DC up against Herman. Just a thought I had for the last few days.
