Ohio State women's basketball has its brightest star back for the 2026-27 season. On Wednesday, guard Jaloni Cambridge announced that she will return to the Buckeyes next year.

Cambridge emerged as one of the best players in women's college basketball as a sophomore in 2025-26. She averaged 23.2 points per game, shooting 49.4% from the field and 36% from three. She tacked on 5.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game, taking home first-team All-Big Ten and second-team All-American honors.
Cambridge enters her junior year with two seasons of eligibility remaining. Ohio State will be hunting for a return to the Sweet 16 next season after losing in the second round of the NCAA Tournament the last three years.
