Unfortunately, The Schott seems here to stay, so throw out a new basketball centric stadium (we can all dream though), here is what I think OSU needs to address to get fans in the stands:

1) Bring back the Scarlet and Gray pass. $99 the first year, $125 the next got you tickets to every single home game. This was an affordable way to get a bunch of people to buy tickets and show up. Even when you didn't want to go, you could sell your tickets online for cheap because you only had to make a few dollars to break even on your pass.

2) Choose a section or area and make them family friendly pricing. My 6 year old wants to go to games all the time, but its over $100 for our family of 4 to get in the door. Add on $20+ for parking, $50 minimum at the concessions. Families just cannot spend $200+ on a random Tuesday to watch the team play some random school

3) Students should be given cheaper options for tickets (I would go as far as to say a free section up top for any active full time student)

Yes, we are a football town and most do not check in for basketball until after Christmas or the CFP is over, but if those early games were affordable you will have a lot more interest in the program and momentum once it becomes full on basketball time. The university has gotten so greedy it has cost most of us out of being able to attend games. Throw in the fact you needed 8 subscriptions to even watch on tv and its an unsustainable plan to gather interest in new fans
