An injury ended Liddell's rookie season in New Orleans before it began. He played just eight games for the Pelicans in 2023-24, scoring four points and pulling in six rebounds. The following summer, he was dealt to the Atlanta Hawks in a trade, then the Phoenix Suns, before he signed with the Chicago Bulls ahead of 2024-25.
Liddell played 12 games this past year for the Bulls, scoring 21 points and grabbing nine boards. He'll seek to carve out a bigger role in Brooklyn entering his age-25 season.
