Quinshon Judkins stays in Ohio with the Browns and TreVeyon Henderson gets drafted by the Patriots.
The 80s are the lone decade the Buckeyes didn't win a conference championship and the 1979-80 squad looked to be one of the best shots (granted the '82 and '83 squads came within a game of a conference title as well). The 1980 team was ranked top 10 all but one week and the roster was loaded with 5 future NBA players. But they went just 12-6 in conference, losing by 1 at Michigan, getting swept by a couple points in two meetings against a weak Wisconsin team, losing by 4 at Minnesota, and ultimately dropping the defacto Big Ten title game at IU in OT in a top 15 showdown. Hard to fault a loss to a UCLA team that was also loaded with talent in the S16 meeting, but curious what others remember about the team looking back. Certainly some great talent.
