Former Ohio State Baseball Player Dominic Canzone Has Five-Hit, Three-Home Run Game for Seattle Mariners

Former Ohio State baseball player Dominic Canzone had a big night in the MLB.

The former Buckeye outfielder, who played for Ohio State from 2017-19, had the best game of his career on Tuesday as he went 5-for-5 with three home runs in the Seattle Mariners’ 12-5 win over the Kansas City Royals.

Canzone had just seven home runs all season entering Tuesday’s game. With his dominant performance on Tuesday, Canzone has now hit 10 home runs in a season for the first time in his MLB career.

He was the first Mariners player to hit three home runs in a game since 2019.
