Good morning, Eleven Warriors readers! Hope everyone had a great weekend.
Can we all just take a moment to realize that it's already mid-May? This year has truly flown by and football season will be here before we know it.
With that, it brings us This Week's Question: If you could add one Ohio State football player to the basketball team and one basketball player to the football team, who would you choose? Also, which position(s) would your players play in their second sport? It could include players in the 2023 recruiting class, even if they won't officially enroll at Ohio State until June.
For me, Lincoln Kienholz is the easy answer for the football player that I would choose to also play for the Buckeyes on the hardwood, specifically as a do-it-all forward. The guy's an unbelievable athlete and dominated as a football, basketball and baseball player throughout his time in high school.
As far as a basketball player that I would want to suit up for the Buckeyes on Saturdays in the fall, I won't go with as easy of an answer and will choose Bruce Thornton. A 6-foot-2, 215-pound wide receiver that can learn from Brian Hartline ad the best wide receivers room in college football? Sign me up.
