Despite the hand ringing of ESPN, and Notre Dame throwing a fit like a petulant child. The playoff committee got it right. Notre Dame dropped behind Miami as they should have. Head to head has to be the most important thing. No I dont care the game was played week 1, they played each other and Notre Dame lost.

Had the roles been reversed and Notre Dame was in and beat Miami I would say the same thing. And some of you will probably come back with well Notre Dame and Miami both should have gotten in and Alabama should have been left out. If thats what you would come back with I dont disagree with you, but then I could just retort well then BYU should have actually gotten in over all 3 of them.

They dont want to "punish" teams for losing the CCG but thats what actually happened to BYU. With more wins then Miami Notre Dame and Alabama, BYU was more deserving then those 3, no I dont care if the Big 12 isnt very good, they are way better then the ACC and the crap show that was that entire conference. The only games they lost were to Texas Tech twice, who is a very good team this year.

Now I know they dont use the criteria "most deserving" nor should they because if it was we would have been forced to watch the abomination that was Florida St post Jordan Travis injury in the playoffs.....and nobody wanted to see that. 

Anyways I think this was the correct rankings and the right teams made it in. No im not advocating BYU should have gotten in. The only good team they played they got their doors blown off both times. The committee got it right
